Dodge County Canine                

Dogs will learn a variety of commands, including how to pay attention, Sit, Down, Recall/Come, Stand, Walking Nicely on Leash, and more.   Owners will also learn about training aids, holistic options, calming techniques, etc.   The entire family is encouraged to attend!

• Each week we review what was taught the week before
• Can use unused punches for other classes

Once your dog has mastered the basics, the next step would be our advanced or Canine Good Citizen (CGC) class.  In this class, you and your dog will work on advanced techniques such as off-leash training, distance work, and proofing commands against major distractions.   It's a wonderful way for you and your dog to continue working and learning

Is your dog very shy or fearful in new situations?   Does your dog overreact to new things?  Is it hard for your to take your dog places?   We offer special classes to help you and your dog feel more comfortable in the world.   Our focus on these classes is not basic obedience; it's to help you learn the tools needed to enjoy your dog.  Call Kim at 920.210.0764 or email her at kimberly@dodgecountycanine.com for more information or to register.

If you and your dog are preparing to be evaluation for therapy work, these classes can help you get ready for the evaluation.   Teams will practice for different situations and in different locations.   It will help relax you and your dog during the test.
