Dogs Do Bark! dog training is provided by the Dodge County Humane Society, 210
Stoddart Street, Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. We adopt out over 300 dogs annually, so
offering dog training classes was something we felt we should offer. We want to have
as many well behaved dogs in the Dodge County area as possible.
If you have an older dog, don't be afraid to sign up. The myth that old dogs can't
learn new things is just that - a myth. Older dogs are actually easier to train!

Dogs Do Bark!
Positive Reinforcement Family Dog Training
|
We want our dogs to behave and to learn. Using positive reinforcement is the best way to teach them. Positive
reinforcement training is where a reinforcer, such as a treat or praise, is given to the dog after the dog
demonstrates a desired behavior, such as sitting. This type of training provides the best environment for learning
and the best results. Not only will your dog learn polite behavior, but humans might learn a few things, too!
Positive Reinforcement is the key!
